Blackletter
Blackletter fonts resemble medieval calligraphy and Gothic typefaces popular in the Middle Ages and Renaissance period. These script typefaces look like they have been written with a broad-nibbed pen and are characterized by angled strokes, narrow proportions and high decorative features. Blackletter fonts are heavy and dark and best for headline or display use.
